Hello group, I am new here and I have a question.....my 5 month old
black lab seems to have broken a tooth (not at the gumline) and I was
wondering when if at all does he shed the "puppy teeth"..........I was
told this happens. Thanks in advance for the replies.

It's been a while since Bubba is now 7 yrs old, but I think they lose their
baby teeth between 5 and 8 mos old. Maybe someone else will answer and we
can get a consensus, LOL>

Thanks Camille..........and in the meantime I will do some
researching........Brady (my dogs name) seems to be fine.........but I
need to read more on black labs....my last dog was a pug (died at 13)
and this one soooo different (lol)

Our lab lost her puppy teeth at around 5 months, we found a couple of them
around that time.
By the time she was 9 months she had her *** teeth.
