All trolls should be neutered so they don't breed.

Imo people that breed pitbulls for fighting are the ones that should be
neutered and be placed in a pit to fight a *** that has a taste for
***, that also includes anyone who profits from the act of this type
of animal cruelty. I also strongly believe people should have a license
before they are allowed to own one and also have them registered as
deadly weapons. when someone has deadly skills in martial arts their
hands are registered as deadly weapons.  a dog does not make a judgement
call when it comes to fighting.   I don't consider myself a troll.. just
stumbled across the two post here and paid my 2 cents. hope you don't
mind.

I had a Pit mix for over four*** years, and I knew two purebred Pits
that lived almost as long as he did, and they never started a fight in
their lives. One of them slept in my friend's daughter's bed from almost
the day she was born until the day before she died. I knew a Basset
Hound that fought with other dogs constantly, and was actually amazingly
good at it too. My neighbor's mutt, some sort of Husky mix, bit me a
couple years ago for no reason. There was a Lab down the street that
attacked my dog once, just once, after that, he avoided him, but
continued to attack other dogs in the neighborhood.

Just because it's a Pit, doesn't make it some kind of killer, and it
doesn't mean it's a "superdog". My friend's Lab and Ridgeback mix would
probably be able to kill almost any Pit that ever lived, but he's a sane
dog, and would never attack anyone or any other dog.

There are bad Pits, sure, but most are made that way by the ***s who
own them.

I should have said:  a license should be mandatory to own a pitbull
that was bred to fight and if the dog is adoptable . I understand  the
owner is responsible for their dogs same as we're responsible for our
children when we still have parental control left:-)  my vet once told
me years ago when I had GS dogs. "if the owner raises hell the dog will
too". I've met a few pitbulls and the owners tell me they are sweet.
but.. I'm very wary of them because of all the negativity over the
years. 5 years go we had new neighbors that had a pit puppy  and he was
with kids.  the ***s were on *** and selling *** and they raised
hell. they only lived next door for about 14 months. they pretty much
let the dog come and go as it pleased. he would come in my yard and bark
at me continually. the police said to me " if he shows his teeth shoot
him". I said no, if you want him shot you shoot him. he ended up
attacking a small dog while the owner was walking it and almost killed
it and he bit someone . long story short.. he never received a rabies
shot . the person that was bit had to receive shots in the stomach and
the other person had expensive vet bills the neighbors had to pay. the
female owner went to jail for a month.  animal control picked him up and
that was the end of him. after that they were busted for *** and were
evicted.
my nieces ex bf raised pits for fighting  and the police suspected him
of it but never proved it. he fed them rice and made them run a tread
mill. one thing I've learned is a dog is a dog and if you have more than
3 and they are the same sex you will have power struggles. I have 3
spayed females. a black lab 5 years old. a mixed doberman hound 13 1/2
and a Malamute GS mix 13 1/2. guess who's  the alpha ?

I've been intentionally bit by three dogs in my life. One was a huge
Wolf/German Shepherd mix named Penny. I was eight, and I was playing on
a jungle gym, and I slipped and ended up falling into her yard. She
cornered me and bit me on the arm, and then the owner came out and got
her, and yelled at me for being in the yard. It wasn't like I did it on
purpose. The back of the jungle gym was almost against the fence between
the yards.

The second time, I got bit by a friend of my sister's St. Bernard. I
don't know what happened, but he suddenly chomped on the back of my leg
and shook it. I yelled and he came at me again, and I got a chair and
was able to keep him away until he calmed down. About an hour later, he
tried to get me again.

And the third time, I was bit by the mutt next door who used to really
like me, but began having issues with one of my dogs. Some sort of
jealousy issue when my dog started climbing the fence to visit one of
the female dogs there. For some reason, he stopped liking me too.

None required stitches. And no suits were filed.

My Pit did get my hand once, when I tried to break up a fight between
him and a huge Shepherd who foolishly attacked him TWICE while we were
just walking one afternoon. The first time, he get chewed on a little,
and ran away, then he came back for a second try, when his owners came
out of the house they were visiting. I got my fingernail crushed by
accident, and nearly got bit by the Shepherd, but he was mainly trying
to save himself at that point, as he was losing badly. That was by far
the worst damage my dog ever did to any dog who attacked him. The
Shepherd needed a bunches of stitches to put his face back together
again. That dog had a history of attacking smaller dogs, but he picked
the wrong one to go after. My dog always took a lot of "hits' before he
retaliated, but once he was at that point, he wasn't kidding around
anymore, it was very serious.

No Pit/Pit mixes have ever even tried to bite me, even the one they had
at the humane society with the big "WILL BITE" sign I missed when I went
in with him. He rolled over on his back and got his stomach rubbed until
I was yelled at and shown the sign, on the other wall from him. It
turned out he had chewed on a kid who had poked him with a stick through
the fence. He got loose and went after the kid and paid him back a
little. He got a couple of stitches on his arm, but wasn't hurt all that
bad. The dog ended up getting out, and the owners took him out of state.

I'm much more relaxed around Pits than I am imported Shepherds, Rotts,
and Dobermans. There are several of each in the area and they all seem
to be a little too tightly wound. The ones bred here seem to be much
more laid back. One of the Shepherds now walks with a muzzle on after
several "incidents". He has a problem with people jogging, or kids
laughing. Why anyone wants a dog as hard as they are, I have no idea.

when someone has deadly skills in martial arts their hands are registered as
deadly weapons.

with respect that is an urban myth.

I do think pit bulls should be mated once in their lifetime though.

With a troll!!!!
