Not me, but if your dog by-law for your community state that any dog that
has attacked or killed another domestic animal (ie. cat) that it could be
deemed vicious or dangerous, then you're going to have to go to court.  If
you dog happened to be off leash and off your own property, you're pretty
much up the creek with no paddles because that's also likely against your
community by-laws.

Now if it happened in your own fenced backyard and the cat was tresspassing,
you might have a chance...moreso if your community has a cat by-law that
restricts them from wandering.
