Fostering & Mals, again

Post by Meliss » Fri, 02 Jun 2000 04:00:00

Since I got such an overwhelming response last time, I thought that I'd
try it again. I'm looking for any information from anyone who owns a
Malamute or a Mal cross and is fostering puppies. To make this clearer;
I intend to have a "resident" Mal or two in my home and foster puppies
(all breeds) from my local rescue shelter and want to know if anyone has
experience with this and how the Mal's behave/adapt to this situation.
Thanks in advance, again. Please e-mail me as I am not in the habit of
checking these ng very often.

we have two malamutes and we just recently adopted a deaf pup. they act very
well with the pup, but i would always keep a eye or an ear out as they may
try to play with it and may accidently hurt it as they are so big and the
pup is so small.
