Is his stool slimey as well as runny? Is his hair coat dry and straw
like? These together with chronic runny stools can indicare whipworm.
However whipworm usually doesn't interfere with appetitie.
Due to his age I would ask your vet about testing for pancreatic or
liver problems that would interfer with his digestion. what has your
vet tried? Does he have any other symptoms? Let me know and I will see
if I can suggest any other things to consider. Keep after this with
your vet, it sounds serious.
