Let me introduce myself

I am the owner of an aussie, Buddie, who will soon be 5 years old.  He
does do *** behaviors, but acknowledges that I am the leader.  He
is very smart, and when he was a ***ager,  he was about 97% devil,
always testing me to see how far he can get away with.  I had to learn
FAST how to be smarter than he.

His favorite activity is 'herding' his basketball like a soccerball with
his nose. (Are you listening Disney?) He has amazed me  on how he has
learned to control the direction of the ball.  I am working on building
him some pieces of agility equipment this summer for him to play on,
also. I want to teach him to push the ball through a tunnel, and then
through a simple obstacle course, but not neccessarily on the agility
equipment.

We live in the dog-mushing capitol of the world-
the interior of Alaska.  So there are PLENTY of dogs  and dog-related
activities. (I have several friends who are recreational, or hobbyist,
dog mushers, but I am not one myself. I find one dog to be sufficient
enough for my life style.)

That's enough for now.  I''m e***d to be in this group and have fun
sharing dog stories (that's the best kind , isn't it?) and learnig from
each other.

P.S.-Buddie says "woof,woof".
