Hi There:
I recently purchased a first aid kit I liked so much that I actually
wrote the people who make it and asked for permission to post here about
it! Some of you may know me from the Prodigy Dogs BB, but this kit is
excellent for dogs or cats. These kits include step by step "how to"
guides created by experienced people in the vet health care field to
prepare pet owners for cuts, bruises, bleeding, wounds, trauma,
gastrointestinal upsets, poisoning, insect bites, eye and ear problems,
muzzling, moving injured dogs, fever and temperature taking, fractures
and splints, rashes, skin irritations, vomiting and diarrhea,CPR,chest
massage,*** and tons of other stuff! Each kit
even has 24 hour telephone hot line stickers for emergency contact with
the National Pet Poison Control Center. These kits are used by places
like Bide A Wee Shelter, US Customs Canine Enforcement, many Dog Club
members, major vet supply companies and tons of vets all over the country.
I am good friends with the Director of the Responsible Dog Owners
Association NY Chapter), Ann Lettis and she told me how impressed she was
with these kits and most of all with the documentation they contain (not
the old generic kind like other kits have). I got mine from her on the
spot! I dont know about you, but when I am out with my dogs, I sure like
knowing I am ready for whatever they can get into or whatever can get
into them <G>I have ordered a couple of the smaller kits as gifts for the
holidays for my favorite doggie people. Since there are two sizes of kits
(the 4 different specialty kits and the deluxe which contains those and
lots of other things), I figure $35
for a gift like this is great...I mean how many doggie toys can my dog
friend use?? I even decided to bypass the usual trophy donations of
trinkets and instead donate one of these kits for puppy classes...hmmm,
the deluxe kit would be great for the bigger wins. If you want any info
on this, like exactly what is in each, let me know. I just thought I
would tell you all about this. Take care,
Isabel and the BoxerKids
