Hi all. My name is Robbie (female). I love basset hounds and thought i
would find a nice group to join. My husband and i have 3 bassets of our
own and one mix rottweiler, 4 cats, and 2 horses. We also foster for
Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama. www.bhra.org is the website for them if
anyone would like to take a look.
We are presently fostering one female basset hound regularly named
Queen Elizabeth. she isnt on the website yet as she still needs to be
vetted and get her pictures taken. That will come later this week tho.
We also have other fosters that are there until a regular foster home
comes available for them. Two of those still are waiting to be vetted
later this week but we also have 3 others and one of those is going to
her new foster home in a couple of weeks. It is a pleasure to foster
and on ocassion, one will be adopted before going to a regular foster
home. I enjoy talking to anyone about our babies. they are all so
precious. thanks and have a great day, Robbie

Welcome, Robbie.  I have a great deal of admiration for those
who do such work.

While my dogs sometimes sleep on my bed, nestle in with me on
the couch, and while I sometimes have to wipe poo off their
bums, they're not my babies.  They prefer (really!) to be dogs.

Hmmm, I seem to recall someone recently mentioning that Halloween dressing
up not being part of his furbaby curriculum ;-)

When I read that post.. I wondered if someone had been assimilated <g>

Ahh.  But if I surrounded all of my sarcasm with "quote marks"
and ;) smiley faces 8-) the shift key on my "keyboard" would
wear out, LOL.
