Basset's HOWLING IS SQUEAKING

Post by Sam » Tue, 25 Dec 2001 04:04:49

Hey Again,
Cali is my basset's name and she is about one year old. When do they start
developing better howls. Her howl is hilarious she is probably going through
puperty or something because and the end of her howl she goes to high and
sqeaks!
Do your bassets get into alot of stuff? Mine barges into the
bathroom all the time to get the tolipaper. And she takes things and drags
them out into another room. Also she loves baths. Whenever you are taking
one she tries to jump in. What is your basset hounds name?

Howedy Sam,

I dunno. Some of my pups HOWEL pretty good right off the bat, maybe
around three weeks old?

Yeah, I love listening to HOWEling. I play the Shakuhachi and my dogs
all sing along if I permit them. New Years Eve always gets the big to do
with everybody HOWEling that NY song...

They got a thing in music where the artist goes off on a tangent for a
bit... Sounds like she's having a great time. I had a wolf dog who'd
just start and go through a whole spiel and then jump and bounce for a
few steps and pretend someone else was making all the noise.

Quote:
> Do your bassets get into alot of stuff?

I don't have Bassets but the kids got them. My breeds are Danes and Eng
Mastiffs but I've got lots of other breeds I've owned too.

Quote:
> Mine barges into the bathroom all the time to get the tolipaper.

Oh, that's EZ to fix. Our "experts" recommend shutting the bathroom
door. They also recommend crating the dog. And they also recommend
killfiling Jerry cause Jerry's got all the answers to all the dog
behavior problems without punishing and confronting and *** our dogs
or changing our lifestyles or locking our dogs in a box and hoping
they'll outgrow their normal, natural, instinctive, reflexive behaviors.

That upsets our "experts" because they need to hurt their dogs to do
what my student's do in a few minutes without hurting nobody.. for FREE,
using their FREE copy of my FREE Wits' End Dog Training Method manual
available for FREE at http://www.moonsgarden.com/  That's the one our
self appointed experts tell you to killfile cause Jerry's MEAN to dog
abusing lying Thugs who only know HOWE to HURT dogs to train them
because they're not bright enough to outwit the cunning of the domestic
puppy dog, even after my own students tell them HOWE... Got it?

Quote:
> And she takes things and drag them out into another room.

She probably does that to get your attention. I'll teach you HOWE to
break those sorts of behaviors subtly in a couple of minutes over a
couple of days, through effective distraction and praise techniques, the
ones our "experts" tell you to ignore... so your dog doesn't get
persecuted for just doing what a dog might do if the dog didn't have
appropriate training to not do the things we'd prefer they didn't do.

Our self proclaimed experts can't tell you HOWE to train your dog not to
dig holes, steal food off the counter, chase the kats, eat the kitty
litter krunchies, jump fences, bark, or anything else, without using
PAIN, FEAR, FORCE, INTIMIDATION, CONFINEMENT and avoidance.

See, if Jerry's right that there's never any appropriate way to jerk,
choke, shock, confont, punish, or confine a dog to modify their
behaviors, that would mean that EVERYTHING our "experts" teach about
forced control, corrections, confinement, and training is all BULL SHIT.

I've identified, exposed, and discredited our self proclaimed experts,
the "excellent trainers" who rely on *** and shocking and beating
dogs with sticks to bring their "EXPERT" training to the peak of
perfection... as lying dog abusing Thugs only interested in convincing
YOU to HURT your dogs too, so they don't look like the dog abusing THUGS
they are. Got it?

Quote:
> Also she loves baths.

Great. My dogs all love getting groomed and I enjoy it too. They get in
and turn around as I ask, never need to restrain them. I teach you HOWE
to do the same in your FREE copy of my FREE Wits' End Dog Training
Method manual available for FREE at http://www.moonsgarden.com/

Quote:
> Whenever you are taking one she tries to jump in.

Well, I wouldn't mind if I invited her if I was taking a shower, that's
an EZ way to groom some dogs. If you don't want her in the tub with you
we can use the same techniques to teach her not to do that.

Quote:
> What is your basset hounds name?

She prefers to remain anonymous. She's shy, maybe it's a genetic thing.
You understand.

Basset's HOWLING IS SQUEAKING

My Basset's name is Happy because my last name is Holiday.  So he is very
popular this time of year!  Happy does the same thing with me when I take a
bath.  He's not too crazy when he gets them tho'.  Happy doesn't get into
anything he shouldn't.  He has four cats that live here, so he has plenty to
play with.  Two out of four of my cats love him.  They*** him and rub up
against him.  It's really cute.

Happy will be 5 on May 4th.  He has a very low pitched and LOUD howl.  His
bark makes him sound like a Rottwieler, which I like, because that's what I
got him for.  (Loud barking dog to protect me when husband isn't home).

Happy is like our son.  In fact, he is playing foot ball in the backyard
right now with my husband.  Does your Basset like snow?  Happy loves it!!!
:)
