No offense intended to Decker, he is a beautiful boy (I went and checked
him out on his webpage), but I don't think that he is a BASENJI (note
spelling!)mix.  I would definitely agree with the chow part, but once
you mix chow chows to anything with a shorter coat (GSD, labs), they
usually end up looking like Decker.  Besides, there aren't all that many
stray basenjis running around out there (out anywhere for that matter!).
Please do not breed him, there are lots of  beautiful, loving dogs
waiting at shelters who need homes, and he wouldn't be contributing
anything to a specific breed.
BTW, Decker sure looks spoiled! Where is a picture of him on horseback??

regarded as such!

Why are you planning to breed an mixed breed ?? If you hope to get a puppy
that is just like him, it does not work that way. Your dog is unique and if
you want another mix I suggest you look at the pound for one you like. Or
you could contact Chow rescue to see if they ever have any chow mixes.
But don't breed your dog, too many mixed breed (and purebred) dogs die
every day already.

Before you breed him, volunteer at the local SPCA shelter for a month.  Help
with euthanasia, putting down perfectly healthy and beautiful *** dogs and
puppies, purely because there is no home waiting for them and the space is
needed for the neverending inflow of more, more and more dogs!!
After that, if you still want to breed your mixed breed dog, then there's
nothing ANYONE can say to change your mind.  PLEASE reconsider!!!!

Todd,

It's a shame your site is frames only. You dont let everyone on, that way.
Perhaps you could also provide the filename for the pic so we can go directly
to it?
