Does anyone know if spider plants are dangerous for dogs and cats?

My dog just chewed on ours, much to our consternation, and it didn't seem to
harm her a bit.  I would have to say that they shouldn't be dangerous, but you
might want to look online somewhere for an index of plants that are poisonous
to dogs. :)

Check here in search for poisonous plants.  http://www.k9web.com/dog-faqs/
I have read both that spider plants are and aren't toxic - go figure!  I
think that they can cause vomiting in cats but aren't very toxic.

I would teach my pet not to eat ANY house plants just on general
principle. Many are toxic, and it is just too difficult to keep track of
what is and isn't.
