WANTED: Good home for a St. Bernard

Post by Greg Tus » Sun, 30 Aug 1992 08:41:55

I am looking for a good home for my 5 year old St. Bernard.
It is heartbreaking to have to put her up for adoption, but
my wife is expecting, and our 4 other dogs and 8 cats
are already too much to handle during the day.

She's a spayed, 5 year old, 140 lb female. She is VERY affectionate and
loyal, and comes from an excellent pedigree (was the mother and
descendant of many champions).

Ideally, I would like to find an owner who has had Saints before, or
at least a large dog. You will need a run, or at least a fenced in
back yard (with a tall fence). ``Rufus'' would like to find someone
who is home often, and who will take her for car rides, etc..

I'm not asking for a lot of money, just a small donation to
ensure that the new owner is serious.

If you are interested, please give me a call, or send email:

whoever you got her from may want her back.  many breeders prefer to take
their dogs back, if the buyer can't keep them, rather than seeing the
dog go to someone they don't know.  please call the breeder and find out.
