Bedlington Terrier

Dear News Group:

First off - my apologies if this is the wrong forum to be asking this
question.

I live in Los Angeles.  My wife and I are interested in getting a
Bedlington Terrier puppy (female).  Despite searches on the Web, and
chasing down some of those leads (mind you - those that still have valid
phone numbers or correct e-mail addresses) we seem to be hitting a
dead-end.

Can any of you recommend a reputable breeder?  Do you know of any in the
Southern California area that we should contact?  Feel free to e-mail me
directly with your reply.

Many thanks for your help

The Bedlington Terrier Club of America breeders listing is

I'm sure that you and your family have done your homework, but I still feel
the need to remind you that despite their warm and cuddly appearance,
Bedlingtons are terriers through and through. They are active, energetic,
feisty... and I would not recommend them for a 'first dog' family. Breeders
will help you more in understanding their needs. Grooming will run you
approximately $55 per month.
