I just wanted to send my thanks to Harriet of NJ Beagle Rescue Referral
Program.  Because of her efforts, I have been able to connect with a beagle
owner who cannot keep her little girl.  I have searched newsgroups and
websites for what feels like forever, trying to find someone within a +/-250
mile radius of my home, and have had no luck until Harriet came along.
C***te-the-beagle and I will be meeting with Randi-the-beagle and her
current owner on Tuesday and, so far, it looks like this match will work
out.

So, to those of you complaining about not receiving help from the members of
this newsgroup--you know who you are--please, cut them some slack and give
them some time to do their magic (and it IS magic)!  The problem of
too-many-dogs-and-not-enough-families has been around for a very, very long
time.  I realize that YOUR situation feels most urgent, but for every one of
YOU, there are thousands of others with equally urgent needs.  Have some
patience and show a little gratitude...

Thanks again, Harriet, as I said in my email to you--I owe you one.  Let me
know how and when you'd like me to settle up!

Candice

Thanks for your hard work to help this dog.  And, thanks for sharing a happy
ending.  Gray
