 My dog buttons was diagnosed with liver disease the first of January.
The vet put her on science diet kd.  You can only get this food at the
vets office.  He had me feed her small amounts 3 times a day. So her
liver dident get over loaded.  She vomitted for about 1 month and lost 2
lbs. She only weighs 10 lbs now.  We dont know what caused the liver
disease.  I think it was her food.  I was feeding her moist and meaty.
My other dog started vomiting when I fed her moist and meaty also.  I
feed them both science diet now.
  I have been gradually trying to feed her science diet maintenance.
She seems to hold that down ok.  My vet told me to keep her on the
science diet kd for the rest of her life.
