You need to be careful with these things -- they are
awfully greasy and can spoil.  My***er ended up getting
a bad one and it resulted in a case of pancreatitis.
(which then turned into a $300 vet bill)  You can bet that
I don't buy these things anymore!

I have used pigs ears for a long time and so far so good.  All 3 of my dogs
love these ears.  I can't find tails in my area.  Will be interesting to
see what others have to say.                Carol   (Doglady)

I've used them a lot.  My dog loves them.  Chuy's very small (12 lbs),
so I use lopping shears to cut them into 4-5 pieces.  Considering that
pig ear sell for about $1 each, this saves some money.  For the same
price per pound, I could probably serve sirloin.

I do take a good smell before I buy them.  Some have a rather rancid
smell.

Our pug just died Memorial Day -- choked on a chunk of pig's ear!

Be CAREFUL!!!
