what's good for getting out two-day-old urine smells

It seems the dog got a little e***d with the new years fireworks and I
just now found a place where she spotted on the relatively new carpet.

The steam cleaner we had out here a while ago used some stuff they claimed
neutralized it.  It worked well, but this is a different spot and I don't
want to have them out again for one little spot.

I understand vinegar works but it's smell is almost as bad as the urine.

Any ideas are apprecaited!

Try Simple Solution or Pet Zyme available at Pets Mart. For general
carpet cleaning as well as those pet stains, Capture is hard to beat.
Available at Sears and Lowes stores. A little pricey at the Sears stores.
Capture is a dry powder and very good at cleaning carpets. There is a
preconditioning spray for capture for bad spots that you spray on just before
putting the dry powder Capture down.

Good luck.

I prefer Nature's Miracle over Petzyme, also available at most pet
supply stores and often from vets.  Both are enzyme based products...
that "eat"/destroy the protein that causes the odor.  NO other type of
product will do the job you need to have done.

Baking soda, club soda (beverage), vinegar, etc., are USELESS.  Once you
have used an enzyme based product, you will never bother with these
other things again.....  Trust me.  Nature's Miracle, which was the
first product in the category, was a marvel twenty years ago when I
discovered it.  I always have it around, and always carry it with me
when  I travel with my dogs.
