Lost female lab--Texas

On September 9, 1997, there was an automobile accident outside of Houston,
Texas. A careless driver swerved in front of a truck pulling a dog trailer,
causing the trailer to jack-knife and hit the truck. Of the 6-8 dogs in the
trailer, one dog was killed instantly and another escaped but could not be
 found.
I am writing on behalf of the owners of the dog that was lost. Please spread
the word that the family is desperately seeking their missing family member.
'Quila is a 1yr. old female Labrador with very light yellow coloring. She has
darker markings on the back of both rear legs and (before the accident) has
two scars on her muzzle. She has excellent manners, and was gentle with
children, having had "children" of her own at home.
If anyone has seen 'Quila or knows of her whereabouts, please contact her
 owners at  (281) 424-2423 or
     (281) 426-7591
There is a reward offered for her safe return.
