Need recuperative quiet foster home in SFBayArea

Post by Juanita Fric » Thu, 23 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Fritzi is a 3yr. old, 12 lb. neutered male maltese-terrier mix, all white with
little black eyes and little black bean nose. Very sweet and energetic, a
little shy at first, compatible with other dogs and cats, and very easy to
have around.

Fritzi was adopted out by Pet Network but was returned because the new owner's
dog didn't like him.

Unfortunately, he also returned with a scratched eye, most likely from a cat.
After his suffering with it a couple of weeks, we have found out that the eye
will have to be removed.

The vet has said that Fritzi needs to be in a quiet place during his recovery
from surgery.  Is there anyone with a quiet home who would be able to foster
him during this time? Our foster homes all have very active animals and are
not suitable for him.

Also, the cost of the surgery is $500.  As those of you in rescue know, that
is a lot of money for a rescue organization.  We would be very, very grateful
for any donations to help out.

If you can help or just want some more information, please call Pet Network at
