Feeding: How much to feed a six-month-old

Post by Phil and Christin » Mon, 28 Sep 1998 04:00:00

We have a Vizsla, recently neutered, six-months old, and we've heard he
needs less food after being neutered. Our question is, how much (in cup
measures) should we be feeding? We feed him "Sensible Choice" Lamb and Rice
puppy formula.

Any advice? Email to below without the "_NOSPAM"

Feeding the right amount of food is very simple. You "feed by the eye." Look
at your dog. If he is too fat, feed him less. If he looks too thin, feed him
more. If you can't feel his ribs, he is too fat. If you can see the rib when he
is standing still, he is too thin. How much easier can it be??? 8=D
