I have 5 wonderful Pomeranians.  My oldest is a 10 year old, neutered
male.  He has collapsing trachea which is getting worse due to his age and
a weight problem ( he weighs 17lbs - he should weigh 10).  I'm trying to
help him lose weight, but it's very difficult with multiple dogs.  Any
suggestions or success stories would be appreciated.

Thanks -

Try feeding boiled chicken with rice and a no-salt vegetable added
along with a dailty vitamin supplement. I'd feed him/her in a separate
room to keep the others out and begin a daily walking pattern. You
could be looking at other problems if you don't control this weight
problem. Take it from me, it's better to get the pounds off and not
look at your chubby pet dying of congestive heart failure or some
other horrible disease.
