What do I name him?  One of my cats has a Goddess' name (Ishtar)
so I was thinking maybe a mythical or God's name?

How about Ahura Mazda Gross?  I think I like that, and Ahura Mazda is a
Zoroastrian god.  "Mazda" for short.  The dog seems to like EVERY name, maybe
he just likes me talking to him.

Mazda is the name of my car, and while I like my car, I can't see the recall
for the dog: "Here, Mazda"...

Right! What I said.

How about Nike? That is the greek (or was it roman) god of victory or something
like that, and you sure seem to have a winner!

Sarah--

I've been reading your posts with great interest -- as a future puppy
owner (we're waiting til our puppy is old enough to come home from the
breeder's).

As for a name........I had a college roomate who had a hard time
thinking of a name for her puppy and was calling him "no-name Jones."
Well it kind of stuck and we started calling him "Jones."  Later he also
earned the name "Booger," but that's a long story........At any rate
you'll soon find something that -- well just feels right [bad Mazda auto
commercial pun not intended ;) ].

Best of luck to you and the big guy!

Yeah, name him Nike.  Then you can holler out the door to him (on those
cold nights when you become impatient quickly)

Hey Nike, Just Do It!

Sorry.  How about Chaos?

Sarah -

Reading the subject lines of your posts about your
new problem child, it begins to seem that he has
already found a name:

Albany Questions
Albany Playing Catch
etc.

Maybe his name is meant to be Albany!
