So Cal Rescue needs homes for 26 Dalmatians

The Friends for Pets Foundation is a non profit organization specializing in
rescuing sporting breed dogs and Dalmatians from shelters.  They currently
have 26 Dalmatians in need of homes and are unable to save any more from
euthanasia in the shelters until some of them are placed.  They are located
at 11117 Fleetwood Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352 and their phone number is
818-767-5919.

They sent me a copy of their newsletter that has the story of Jobe, a Dalmatian
who suffered horribly at the hands of his former owner and nearly died.  This
dog was left in the backyard alone, unloved and unwanted.  The owner tied him
to a post with an 8 inch rope and then left him to starve.  A concerned
neighbor called animal control and Friends for Pets.  The poor Dal was so
close to death he couldn't walk or eat.  Friends for Pets convinced animal
control to turn him over to them and they nursed him back to health.  Jobe is
now beautiful, healthy and loving and ready for a new home.  If you want to
give him or one of the other beautiful Dals at Friends for Pets a home, please
give them a call and go see them.

Thank you,
