Chad German Shepherd is dead

Post by wanab » Mon, 12 Jan 2004 02:39:00

Just to let all my friends on the newsgroups know that Chad our german
shepherd died this morning, we were out for our usual morning walk and he
was enjoying his walk, he was running back to us and he just fell at our
feet, we knew there was something seriously wrong. He just died before our
eyes
Paula my daughter owned Chad and she is devastated. Chad was only 13 Months
old.
You may remember I told you that we could not show Chad because two of his
teeth were missing but we loved him just the same
We will miss him

Brian,

I am so sorry!  Chad has been a part of everyone's family due to all your
posting of pictures.  Very sad.  Hugs to your daughter (and anyone else that
needs one).

Wow! As a person who lost three animals in three weeks time, I still
don't know if I felt as much pain as you have. To see your dog drop
and die is an incredibly tough thing. I could say all sorts of things
to try to diffuse the pain, but shouldn't. We live in a society that
doesn't allow us to be 'weak'. I say cry and grieve as hard and as
long as you can. In the end, some tremendous realizations will
hopefully emerge. I don't know you nor did I know your dog, but I'll
bet from your post he was more than just a pet.

Brian,
Sending my sincere sympathy to you.  I know the excruciating pain of losing
a furkid.

Peace,
Mindy

I checked out Chad's pages...what an absolutely gorgeous shepherd, I am so
sorry for your loss.  I can't imagine the shock.  Did the vet give an idea of
what might have happened?  So sad.  Also, just wanted you to know, the date on
his page says he died 10/1/04...thought you might want to know so you can fix
it.  I love GS's, they are the best.  Again, so sorry.
