One of my dogs, Sailor seems to not be a big fan of peeing.  I know this
might sound stupid, but do some dogs pee a lot less frequently than
others?  My other dog Buddy, who is about the same size is the pee
champion.  He pees on everything.  Last night I took Sailor out at
midnight and them again at 7am.  She was too interested in the squirrels
and after a 20 minute walk, didn't do anything.  She just had a vet
visit and seems to be in great shape.  Could this be an indication of a
problem?
Thanks!

You've got 2 things going on here.  First, they're different
sexes and females pee much less frequently than males.  I have
one that pees 3 times a day, and has for years.  Second, a lot
of what you're seeing with your male is territory marking, not
peeing.

Now you know why some people prefer female dogs. :^)

How old is Sailor?   Are you crate training him?  If you are, take him out
of his crate to pee, if he doesn't pee, put him back in his crate and try it
again 20 minutes later.  He'll soon get the message.  Rosanne

Sailor is  2.5 and we crate trained her as a pup but now she has free run of the
house.  The problem is, sometimes when I take her out in the AM before I leave
for work, she won't do her stuff  (even though she has been in all night).  She
just walks around stalking and pointing at the squirrels.  So, I have to wait
until she feels like "going" before I go to work, even if it keeps me late.  It
is really annoying!

Take her out on leash, and don't allow the squirrel hunting until she's
peed. Also, train her to pee on command - that's a huge help when you're
in a hurry and need a dog to relieve itself quickly.
