Woof to all you energetic doggies !

My suckermom gave me to my suckerdad for his birthday back in Jan 95. I
heard them talking today and they say NO MO DOBIES.  Guess that means I
am O'Bee One K'Dobie all right !!.  Suckerdad says PLEEEEEEASSSSE next
time give him a jer-bell.

I showed them about what it was like to own a REAL doggie - Playplayplay,
whinewhinewhine,barkbarkbark,smooshsmooshsmoosh,moremoremore.

They still call me 'dorable when I am sleeping, but cuz I am not really
sleeping I know they love me lots.

I'm glad they're getting a greyhound, but I hope he's more fun than my
boring sister.  I keep poking her to see if she's still alive.

Hi Emily B,

We have another Miss Emily around here, so we have to keep you two
straight.  In fact, we've had a traumatic day because of my little
brother, Ditto, and Ms Em.  I'll have to tell you about that some day.

What kind of dog is your big sister?  Doesn't she play with you?  I play
with Ditto all the time - except when he is singing the puppydog blues
and running thru the UDRR in search of food and trubbles.

Roo Emily B, U are luckyie to have a sister, and maybe a nu greyhound
buddye. I am left all alone for days at a time (8 hours max, Siska),
and I do not have anywon to play wif. My dady takes me on a bike ride everyday,
and on specul days we go hikin together. I am very energetic, being
a berian husky. Maybe u cud come visit using the UDRR, and we cud playrun.

Um, Kosh, what is a toad? It sounds lik it is smaller than my bufello
that Giuliani sent me. But it sounds like fun- more fun than a turtle rock.
Cud u send me a toad- I am very lonely today.

Woof Emily B
Woof Siska

Yah Emily B I am a Vizsla and I didn't lay around the house much my
first two years either.  Y'know, Vizsla's have two speeds, on and off.
Luckily for my hoomins, off just gets longer and on gets shorter as we
get to be older doggies.  But I still *demand* to go to the
parkparkpark everyday.  Gotta keep those hoomins on their toes.
Sometimes if Momordad comes home and gets flat on the couch, I will
pile all my toys there, one by one, til my hoomin decides not to be
flat anymore.

Hey Siska and Kosh - yeah those jumpy rocks are pretty strange - smell
like a squggle in the grass or a moving rock but jump like a
birdbirdbird  I just loooooook.  They are too weird for me.

Reilly (Hoomintrainer vizsla)

Excuse me, but I'd like to take the part of the elder sister -- or in my
case, aunt.  We senior dogs are to be honored and appreciated, not treated
like playthings by young upstarts,  Just remember, you too will slow down
someday (bet your momanddads can't wait).

Now in my den, I've still got the upperpaw, so to speak.  When my pesky
varmint niece Siskiyou was a pup she tormented my perpetually -- chasing,
biting, trying to knock me over.  But actually I was merely humoring her.
Whenever I was sick of her, I merely put her head in my mouth or barked
her to the ground. These days, I don't have to use much physical force --
it's amazing what psychological superiority (read fear) will do for you.

The game was even easier when my great nephew Tecumseh arrived last
summer.  Now there's a boy with a sense of propriety.  I don't think he
was in the yard more than five minutes before he sized up the situation:
Siskiyou was to be beaten up and surpassed at the earliest possible time
while I was to be bowed and scraped to in perpetuity.  Aahhhh.  What a
fine fellow.  Momanddad think it's so cute when he sidles up to me and
rolls over on his back looking for a few crumbs of my approval.  Momanddad
think Tecumseh's view of the pack is the following:  I'm alpha, mom is
sub-alpha, dad is best fetch buddy, and Siskiyou is best chewtoy.

So, you youngsters take a few lessons from me.  Honor your elders and
learn from them all the tricks it will take to become boss when your turn
comes.

Woof Emily B,  I know just how you feel.  I have a boring sister
too.   She is pretty long in the tooth and not much for playplayplay.
I love to play and herd Mom and Annie.  I slam really fine and
somtimes my sister will nip at me when I do it real good.  Mom
thought I had a tick but it was only a playbite from my stoopid
sister.   You know your DadandMom must reallly like you if they
don't need more doggies at your den.  My Mom would like tons of
doggies she said, but not all like me...
Woof at you later,
Duffie, the wuss, and good herder.

Emily B
You may have to teach your new greyhound sister or brother all about
playing and being happy. When my sister KC was first 'dopted she didn't have
anyone to tell her about playing and barking and schmooozin' for pats. By
the time I gots 'dopted KC had learned all this stuff and taught me, and then
we taught our shy brudder Wiki. That's how we became the Gorgeous Greyhounds
of Dunstable. So be patient and you're new buddy will learn all your good
habits.

Oh, Siska, I would luv to do the UDRR with you and you are lucky that
your dad does all that stuff with you, cuz my dad is lazzzzzy.  He bought
some running shoes once and we did that for a week or so, but now they
just sit there, and I WHINEWHINEWHINE but no luck.  My mom and dad are
soooo boring.

Woof Gus ! My big sister is a stoopid black lab 'triever.  She hardly
plays with me at all.  She can't really stand the sight of me most days
and lays downstairs in the ruckus room.  Course when she does play
'trieving I jump all over her and bite her 'cuz I think thats fun, but
she gets real mad.  Then she jumps on me, and jumps around a bit, which
is kind of different, and it seems to gross out Mom and Dad.  I get in
trouble lots, but we got no traumatics lately.

Nice to woof with you !

Eggsactly.  My Mom is getting another doggie, but not like me.  It's a
greydog, and it seems to be all they talk about now.  I'm surely getting
worried about my status around here.  My sister will be SOOOO mad, she
will likely pee everywhere !  That'll teach 'em.

Starlite,

Woof. Are you still on that bad d*et?  Do you have cccats? They have
good food and sometimes when your hoomans aren't looking you can get
some of that stuff. It's not as good as PEOPLEFOOD or MYFOOD but it's
still okaydokey. I also eat cat poops when I can, but evilstepmom won't
never let me. Is she saving it for herself?  Know how else you can get
food? You can go to 'training' and then when you do all the silly stuff
they ask you to do (like 'Sit' when you aren't even tired) then you can
sometimes get cookies. I'm drooling jus thinkin about it.
Come to my house and you could eat some cccaat food but be careful. They
are not nice ccats and they poof real real big. Scarey.

Drools to you, Asia

Did somebody say cat poop?  Can I have some, PLEEEEASE?  Cat food is just
as good when it comes out as before it goes in, maybe better!
