#4  If you want to find somebody, try the following:
    Search thourgh the news files for the person's name.
        On this system:
            /usr/lib/news/spool/... (ie: alt/good/news)
            use grep to search through the files for the name you want
            (ask someone there for help -- try the Bored Operator From Hell (tm)

Whenever you see such a god-awful crosspost, reply via email
with the offending text plus a brief, polite comment on the
offensiveness of the crosspost.

I've been doing this for a while, if a million other folks
will join me, I'm *sure* we will have no problem convincing
people like

to correct their habits.

        This group is an offensive waste.  'aka' this and that all
        over the place.  It's almost as bad as hearing the same lightbulb
        joke 50e+6 times in a row.

        Oh, you have no bad habits.  Have you been interviewed on

        In fact, as I've posted before, this group dissappoints me.
        I'm going to stop whining now, and *** off permanently.
        I won't even try to start a new thread, as it will just get
        lost in a an 'aka' sea, or a flurry of meaningless dribble
        cascades.

        For all those truly faithfull MPFC fans, cheers, and keep

As for the "aka"-ing all over the place...I think it was pretty creative and
has become a backbone of this group..well maybe an arm or leg...or maybe a toe.
If you would bother to look, you would find that all of us here are die-hard
Python fans. But you were too quick to judge it seems. Try a little creativity,
a little originality. Pure discussion is a trite boring. And what better
newsgroup to toss in a bit of lunacy and silliness that one of the masters
themselves?
