the best thing to get up pet stains? I have tried several: Pet Zyme, Spot
Shot, etc. Is there a better one? Or how about a homemade solution??

Thanks,

I've always used Nature's Miracle, too... get it at Petsmart, Petco or any
local pet store... also online.

Even better than Natures Miracle.......  Pet N' Fresh Plus.  My friend,
Jenny, turned me on to this product.  Awesome.  You can go to this web
page for more info and the companies phone #.

Let me know how it works.

An extraction machine. Nothing else gets up the stain. Bissell makes a nice
little machine that costs about 80.00. Hoover has a bigger one.

That's not necessarily true.  Elbow grease and appropriate
levels of blotting with a *clean* white towel actually do a
better job, but they're a lot more work.

Pour white vinegar (my boyfriend used red wine vinegar once..duh) onto the
carpet.  Then pour baking soda on it.    It will fizz and explode, but I
found all stains and odors related to our little Greta to come right up!

Did you know that the white vinegar and baking soda also clears drains? (I know
this is off-topic). A lot cheaper than the bottled stuff!

Actually, yes it does! The vinegar / baking soda concoction actually cleared
my clogged drain (clogged from Gretas fluffy red hair of course).  I think
my friend got this old stand by from her great grandmother in NY.
It works!

If you are trying to get rid of the odors, you should try OdorXit
Concentrate.  www.odorxit.com  it where all the others have failed.

Oh yes it works great, also use to freshen dishwasher and clothes washer
as well as 1 cup in rinse, once a month to get out detergent left in
clothes.  You would be amazed at what surfaces.

 <snip> Pour white vinegar.....

Be careful with white vinegar, it can bleach out color.  Learned from
experience.  Regards, Donna
