In Sam McGredy's Hands (in Quest for the Rose)

In the book, The Quest for the Rose, there is a picture (page 195) of five roses
in Sam McGredy's hands. All five are striped, all five are big, all five are the
kind that inspire visions of roses.
If these have been released, do any of you know their names?  Especially the
name of the red one on SG's left, the big one that can cover his glasses case
with petals left over.
Any one of these roses would make the 'hand-painted roses' section of the ARS
Garden in Shreveport look like inferior plants (although Lemons and Oranges ther
looked good at spring bloom).

No, none of them were good enough:( They were actually the very first
blooms on single plants among about 60,000 different varieties in the
glasshouse.
