I see this as a 'Movie of the Week' don't you???  Billy Crystal as the
Therapist, Janeen Garofalo as Diane, Robin Williams as the computer.

compelling story line outta this? Huh? Maybe bring in something about the
haunting of the computer by the Ghost Orchid? Cool stuff for this time of
year.... BOO!

Barbara,

"The Unauthorized Diane Richards Story".... hmmm.... Janeen Garofalo as
Diane.... NOT.

Diane Richards, the long-legged, orchid-loving, beauty queen.... she, a
mysterious Swedish blonde with no eye pupils.... Billy Crystal the "twisted"
psycho-therapist.... Robin Williams as Diane's deranged animated computer
leading/pushing her on to bigger and "stranger" things in life.... Diane's
Siamese born son(s).... the Stink Bomb Orchid Show in Pineyville Texas....
the explosion.... RGO's most dark night... ghost orchids.....

I just don't know if I can do it Barbara... I am not sure I could hold the
attention of RGO with such a weak and boring premise.

Karen,

Ah yes... how careless of me to forget.  The Stink Bomb Orchid Show WAS
moved to Sulfur Springs Texas years ago.  I stand corrected.  The character
of Diane Richards has already been cast.... long-legged Swedish blonde
bombshell with X-ray vision.

Question:  In the movie,  would Robin Williams be called
HAL (a Mark V generation computer  programmed at the
University of Illinois Urbana campus and turn against
D....a....v.....e  when Dave tries to pull HAL's plug?  Say,
what would this movie be rated, anyway?  Jim

James,

I see an R rated movie.  The Robin Williams/HAL Mark V association is indeed
"do-able".  We need a DAVE though... someone who is a plug puller... a
plugger... a plug-in... a plug something...

Diane Richards has-heard/has-seen Robin Williams in many different
electrical devices all of her life... computers in 1999 "contain" the Robin
Williams voices of today.... but years ago when Diane was a child her
"talking computer" of that day was the television.  And what program did she
watch nearly non-stop?

That's right.... Mork & Mindy.

Once we get the right answer for the Bulbophyllum medusae fragrance I think
we can actually begin this saga.  Diane's parents were Bulbophyllum medusae
farmers who cultivated this type of orchid for its unique fragrance and
"power"... this important aspect plays heavily in developing the Diane
Richards story along with a half-dozen other noteworthy points, but first we
need to solve the Bulbophyllum medusae fragrance question before we get too
far ahead of ourselves.   I wonder who will help out us on this fragrance
question?  I wonder.....

Ohhh, now it is making sense.... Nano...nano.... and sitting with your head in
the couch... That would make it very hard to unsubscribe from RGO... Imagine
trying to find the unsubscribe button  upside down... Poor thing. No wonder all
those NG messages are getting to Diane... Hard enough to read them right side
up.
