Caladiums Store at 60 to 65 deg F.??

Does anyone keep caladiums through the winter?

The book I have says clean and dry the tubers and story in Vermiculite
or dry sand at 60 to 65 degrees F.      How do you do that?

Could you build a root cellar, or something like a potato bank  in
Middle Georgia that would serve the purpose of storing caladium
tubers, and how would you monitor and adjust the temperature, or is
that necessary?

I realize I have a few months to work on this, but I like planning
ahead and any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.

Thanks,
