Can anyone suggest a place where I might find plans and material lists
for an old fashioned rose arbor that has an arched top and bench seats
on either sides? Please let me know: books, websites, other helpful

 A freind of mine designed a Garden arbor that may suit your needs. It
was designed for a magazine called Western Living specifically so that
people could build their own. You can get a look at it at the following

Once you have the homepage, click on "Details, details, details" and
you'll find the arbor part way down the page.
