We appear to have some sort of fungus on some of our dogwoods. I sent a
couple of leaves to the County Extension folks and they called back and
said that it looked like either spot anthracnose or flower and leaf
blight. They said there isn't anything we can do about it now but rake
up fallen leaves and destroy them and then, next spring, hit the tree
with a fungicide.
We're looking for the name of a reliable/affordable arborist in the
Chapel Hill, NC area with whom we can consult and, later, work.
