You know, am I the only one who was frustrated over the topic of successful
planters?  How I wish we could have seen pictures of each one.  A lot of
successful gardening is imitation with improvements, and there were several
planters I'd love to have, uh, appropriated? :)

Reading rec.gardens is often like listening to the gardening shows on radio.
Interesting, but limited.  Imagine The Victory Garden on radio.  Ish.

Anyone interested in coming up with a way we can see what we're discussing?
This is part of the WWW, which is as much visual as text, and these old
newsgroups are like vestigial tails.  We're only using half our technological
ability, and also not getting as much out of our discussions as we could.

Any ideas?

You can post as many as you want in alt.binaries.pictures.gardens.
(And, BTW, everyone should check out Margaretha's pictures of
autumn in Sweden. Beautiful!!)

I have checked out and posted a few times in that group. Really
wonderful  photos!

There have been many times that I have read a post in this group and
wished I could have seen a photo of what the person was writing about.

I second that.  New England is supposed to be beautiful in the autumn,
but I'd love to see Sweden now <G>
