Green Pepper Plants: No Peppers

Post by Keith Clevela » Wed, 20 Aug 1997 04:00:00

My green pepper plants and most of my paprika pepper plants have grown
quite nicely; however, after a flower grows the plant turns brown
where the flower stem meets the plant and falls off: no peppers.

What gives? This is the second year in a row. The chillis are fine,
but no green peppers. I've moved the tomatoes to the other side of my
garden, but haven't noticed any difference.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

carlos
the same thing happened to my tomatoes this year! I did get some fruit at
first, then the blooms started turning yellow and falling off. This lasted
several weeks.
Now they seem to be doing better. the only thing I could find out was
,maybe to much
water.I think most peppers like alittle stress dont they and not a lot of
fertilizer.Hope you find an answer.
