New Gardening Group?

Post by Scott D. Ju » Wed, 30 Oct 1996 04:00:00

I was the one who sent that Liz.  Currently the RFD is sitting in
someones mailbox waiting to be posted on news.announce.newsgroups and
news.groups and other places like rec.gardens.

The message was to create a rec.gardens.vegetable.

This is a much needed area that could be safely broken away from
rec.gardens.

The quote below was taken from one of the gardening listservs.  I was
interested to discover that there is a proposal to create a vegetable
subgroup within the rec.gardens hierarchy.  Since this is the first
I've heard of such an effort I thought I'd post it here to see if
other people who routinely read this group had heard this bit of news.

I'm definitely interested in a newsgroup of this nature.
