my backyard garden -- Yoshi's screwup

Post by Rastapood » Tue, 30 Dec 1997 04:00:00

I am posting this complaint and emailing Yoshi's ISP. This person must
be a clueless newbie to so bombard a non-binary group with about a
hundred huge binaries. I feel sorry for those people who must pay
hourly rates for connection and who use a reader that does not allow
deletion of obviously big, repetitive posts.
Yoshi, you're letting your ego and stupididity regarding the net clog
WAY too much bandwidth. I rarely get testy with posters, but this was
too much.

I thought something was fishy when I saw "Yoshi" was at

sure he'll track down the fake address and take care of the matter.
Hope "Yoshi" enjoys his "cesspool" . I'll bet the pics aren't even
that great, especially since he has to hide behind a fake address.

I agree with Anya. This posting puts a strain on computers like mine.
Yoshi's Garden is probably beautiful -- but to load 90 to 100 K
to a newsgroup is too much.

Yoshi's probably not stupid -- he's just not very familiar with Net
etiquette and doesn't realize that not everybody has all the cool
equipment he has to be able to view all his snapshots quickly and easily.
(I don't, so if it turns out all the pictures are animal ***ography or
something, disregard the previous sentence.)

I have no problem recieving the pictures. But as I do I am actually
kinda embarrassed for the guy... they look awful.  I was expecting
something pretty fancy. But they are just some bagged plants against a
chain link fence.

To his credit, he did have some veggies growing in those pickle
buckets.  Still, had it been my yard, I'd get rid of all that yucky
green flat ground covering and replace it with something fun to look at
and play with.

Yoshi,

How about a little meandering pea gravel path winding through a cottage
herb garden?  In the center, place a small pond and fountain with a
couple of benches that would allow you to sit facing either direction.
Some privacy plants along that sterile looking chain length fencing
would go well too.

Cheers :)

He is proud of that yard?  Personally if my yard looked that bad I would not
want to show it off in a gardening newsgroup.  Yoshi you need ad some color
to the mix my brother.
