Tight assed limey gits.
All I got for my trouble was a bunch of FAQ and such drivel. That and no
acknowledgment of my query.
Dumb ass bastards.

Leaf--So the Garden was a bit difficult today... sue me.

Well, Isn't that special?

Is diarrhea of the fingers your malady?

Wonder why they didn't acknowledge your query?
You come across as yet another ugly red-neck honkey cracker Yankee, dude.
Is that what you want?

As soon as I can wipe the laughter tears off my face, I'm gonna ask
what was your question.

Errr... sorry about the outburst. I had been fighting some rather stubborn
tree stump and no amount of dwy white wine would make the battle any easier.

The question was ' anyone know where I can get a cheap pump for a water
feature?' and I explained that perhaps this little venture would likely be a
disaster and therefore damage limtation was the idea of the day.

I chose URG as it was obvious a pump from the U.S.......well, you know what
I mean.

And, as for Cereoids' response, I fart in his general direction.

Phew!
I thought I might have got myself in a bit of bother for that. I'm used to
expressing myself on my 'other' frequented ng without offending anyone.
I shall try to be more reserved here in future.

Leaf-- However, if that bastard of a tree stump doesn't give up the ghost
this evening, there is no guarantee.

If you can find it, let *me* know? I sort of left the *** tree stump to
sit in front of the computer to take my mind off the battle...and was on my
4th glass of wine by then. It must have been tree stump related, I'm sure.
Removing *the* stump was part of a project to put in a water feature, so it
was about a pump. Don't bother subscribing.... unless you can inject some
humour. ;-)

Sorry about the laughter.  I asked a question there once.  The
response was so cold I had icicles*** from my ..er chest.

Actually the Little Giant pumps aren't so bad.  Sturdy but you gotta
clean off the filter cage all the time.  The best place to ask, and
you'll get friendly help is: rec.garden(s).pond(s)

You have yet to top my reply, compost boy.

Why the uk email address, you limey fraud?

You're another example of the pot calling the pot a pot!!

Too bad, cladode. FAQ yourself.

I will fart right back in your ugly face.

(You Monty Python reference suggests you are just another juvenile ***er
that got a PC from mommy and daddy as a graduation present and doesn't know
what to do with it. Maybe you should stick with the *** websites with the
rest of your buddies? Obviously, neither your heart nor your hand are into
gardening.)

Definitely a bit of an over-reaction on my part. They apparently have an
aversion to answering repeated questions from any newbie that enters there
hallowed and I was told (when I responded along the lines of 'I don't want
to read no s***king FAQ's') their pretty valid reasons. However, I still
like the 'personal' approach with a friendly person who is pleased to be
asked their advice. That's just me, though.

I've now been a bit less lazy and, thanks to some great advice about how to
use Google to full advantage, am gathering some info about pumps available
here. (Little Giant is not one I have come across in the UK yet)

I'll give them a shot!
Thanks.

Leaf-- who still prefers rec.gardens ;-)
