Gardening Software

Post by Veronica Reynold » Sun, 04 Jan 1998 04:00:00

Hi,

about a year or two ago I had heard of a gardening software that
would let you plan out your garden, and then see what it would look like
in several years, months, etc.  Does anybody know where I could find a
software program like this?  Thank you.

I have a program (CD-Rom) from Show-off software called Landscape.  It sounds
like what you are looking for.  You have to have a scanner or at least a floppy
with a d-scan of your porperty in order to use it.  I have a scanner but not
enough hard drive to install it and don't want to have someone else do the
floppy thing for me SINCe I have the scanner so I am not sure if it is a GOOD
investment or not.  Ihave heard it is good though.

I have key home gardener - which allows you to "plant" your Garden and flick
through the years to see how it will "grow" all this is viewed on top of
your house plans (which you have to setup - quite easy to do!)
It also allows you to put in Sprinkler systems, furniture, ponds, pools -
well just about everything you'd want in a garden.
The software is published by "Green Thumb Software"

hope this helps

Tony.
