Teddy to the Bridge!

Post by Jackie Mullin » Mon, 12 Dec 2005 02:23:02

Well another of my boys made his way to Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday.
Breathing heavy and had lost so much weight in 2 days it was unbeleivable.
He was one of the biters and was difficult to handle but he was just not
interested in anything food wise and then I think you know it is time.
Luckily my nice Vet Jenny said that the unit they put them in to knock them
out first before the lethal injection was big enough to put him in with the
carry case so we did not have to stress him anymore than we should. But when
we checked him afterwards he had two great big tumours under his tummy by
his *** and one under his front armpit. So the decision was a good one
in the end, but it still not nice.
Hope your ratties are well and playing.
Only 4 left now, but Badger, Teddys cage mate does not look 100% but I keep
checking him.

Jackie,  even tho it's the right decision it's still a ***e isn't it. My
sincerest condolences to you.

The last one of my babies passed over to the bridge last week. I'm glad he
took it out of my hands, but it was hard. I am currently ratless...That in
itself is hard to believe.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss..

Sue

Oh no Sue, I'm so sorry...
I just can't imagine not having any ratties to cuddle.
Are you taking a break or will you be bringing new bundles of popcorning
babies into your home for the holiday season?

I'm so sorry to hear about Teddy.  You really are going through it at the
moment losing so many in a short space of time, my thoughts are with you.

Sending well wishes to little Badger.
