Not only has she packed up her toybox and gone to another group, but
she has changed her "business" name.  From this message it seems as if
she thinks non of us are on apr . . .

Hi,  My name is Judith and I own Moonsong Rodentry.  I just changed
ISP's
and my old rat list is not available on my new one.  Glad to at least
find a
rat list.

Just one question...whose permission do I need to get to change my
BUSINESS name.  I am quite sure that many of the people on this list
are on many other lists.  I really do not mind. But with your kind
permission I am changing my BUSINESS name to Moonsong Rodentry because
I have quite a wide variety of rodents that I raise.

Actually for once I have to agree with her here.  If Judith was actually
running from the associations with the bad posts about the Moonsong Rattery
(I think that was the previous name) she would have dropped "moonsong" and I
wouldn't blame her if she up and left.  We haven't exactly made this a
friendly NG towards her.

Yeah - well she left alt.pets.ferrets and her "Moonsong Ferretry" to
come here and take on "Moonsong Rattery".

And even funnier - she is on a new list and is claiming another person
is me and that I am sending her personal ansty messages about her
changing names.  That is not true as the only message I sent was the
one here.

Amy, You have more names (Fuzzit, Flemming Farms,....)You just keep
posting under new ones.  I kind of like just using the name I have been
using for nearly 40 years.

Moonsong is a good name too.  We used it when we had the farm and the
champion Saanen and LaMancha goats.  Then when we had the Borzoi kennel
we used it for the pups, some of which went on to win their own
championships.  We had a commercial rabbitry which carried that name.
No we won't quit using that name.  It is a good one and in the real
world rather well respected.

We are slowing putting together an outstanding group of rodents to
raise.  When I retire I hope to go fully commercial in supplying pet
stores with carefully bred, well socialized and beautiful rodents of
all types.  This is the kind of life I love, raising animals and
enjoying doing it.

A user name is different than a business name.  My business name has
always been Flemming Farms.  It was registered with my local government.

I did it that way so if I wanted to change creatures - or add
additional ones - I could and I wouldn't be changing my imiage all the
time.

I never said it was a bad name.  Actually I think it is clever - judith
*Moon* hence *Moon*song.  Maybe you could just call yourself "Monnsong"
and leave it at that.

.... And exploiting them by making as much money as possible by selling
them to pet stores, where you won't have the faintest idea who's buying
them or whether your "beautiful rodents" are being well cared for,
neglected, tortured or fed to snakes.

Not for you the responsible attitude of only selling privately so you
can vet the prospective owners first.  Oh no, you're going "fully
commercial" - your euphemism for mass production.  But then, when
money's involved, why should the welfare of the "beautiful rodents"
matter?

this was copied from alt.pets.rodents
i guess she'll do anything for a friend.
as for not being a friendly NG for her, she didn't exactly make it easy
for anyone to really like her anyways. telling people off and being caught
in
problems she stirred herself.
as for her not bring here, she stated she couldn't get this NG anymore,
another lie?

well my last post on the subject. :)
