Pet Eastern Gray Squirrel with possible broken leg.

Hi all,
My name is Matt and I have a pet eastern Gray Squirrel who I suspect
has a broken bone in his right leg/foot. He was playing keep away from
me with a toy of his. He ran behind our couch from the top and when I
tried to move it he may have been crushed lightly for a second.
He came out freaking out and running around and appeared to be
favoring his left leg. I picked him up and inspected for any compound
complex fractures and did not see anything out of the norm.
How can I tell if it is broken or just bruised? Today he is crawling
all over the cage and can use the foot to grasp food and eat. ATM I
have him out and he is moving around fine and letting me touch the
leg.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi All,
I monitored him throughout the day and he seems to be fine. Just to be
sure I am going to bring him to my vet for a check up.
