As if my cat wasn't enough...Duchess, a rabbit who was bailed out of the animal
shelter passed away this morning. She was spayed yesterday, and I am not sure
WHAT happened to her. She will be necropsied.

Her surgery site looked normal, no loose poops. She has been eating..I don't
know what the heck happened to her! She was tired looking last night but that's
normal for females. Dean checked everyone this morning and found her dead.

I didn't have a chance to take a picture of her or add her to the website as an
adoptable rabbit.

The good news is that the baby rabbits are still doing okay (knocking wood lots
of times) and are scarfing down pellets. They are still getting their milk, but
they are eating pellets.

Angela,

I'm sorry about Duchess.  It's sad for her that she had just found hope,
and then lost her life.

But she did have days of hope, Angela, thanks to you.
