Brenda and Calvin give their blessing.  Brenda is a 10 lb. spayed
female, and Calvin is a 2 lb. neutered male.  Everyone thinks
Calvin is Brenda's baby.  In fact he's her baby in the other sense
of the word.  They had a passionate courtship during which Calvin
did his best to mount Brenda, impressing her with his vigor.
(Pretty good for an old guy, abandoned in a gutter suffering
from ear mites and chronic respiratory problems).  Now they
are content to cuddle all day long.

Best wishes,

Holly

: I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who has
: both a Netherland dwarf and a French Lop?  I have had
: my dwarf for 2 years and just got the lop. I was wondering
: if anyone has had some joyous or disasterous experiences
: with that combination.

: The dwarf is a very friendly and affectionate male named Skye
: (neutered)and the lop is a female (Meg).

: I would also be interested to hear from anyone with experience
: with other small breed/large breed combinations.

: Thanks in advance,

: Elise, Skye and Meg
: Hi Elise, I own a giant German Angora and a tiny fawn Netherland
: dwarf. The German Angora (Pretty Girl) looks at the Neth Dwarf
: (Pumpkin) as if to say "I'm supposed to play with THAT? What IS
: that?!!! You can't be serious!!! Pumpkin races around Pretty Girl
: until both are dizzy, then they cuddle up against each other
: which makes them look like a huge white marshmallow with one tiny
: orange sprinkle on it! It's a treat to watch them. Susan

When I retired my first Jersey Wooly doe this fall I bought a
Siamese Satin to be her friend.  Maggie is about 3 pounds and the other
girl is probably pushing around ten pounds.  They are the best of
friends, cuddle and play together.  It is hard to tell who is the boss
now.  The Satin, Sally is very gentle with Maggie and will clean her all
day long, gently washing Maggies face and ears.  They look alot like they
are mother and daughter, very caring and loving.  When I got Sally,
Maggie cared for her and raised her as her own baby, now Sally is paying
Maggie back for all that love.
