Meet Matilda

Hi

We got her today. I went into the shop and she hopped over to me. When she
was extracted from the holding pen she struggled a bit but settled down in
my arms. She is now home and in a cage whilst she gets used to us and
adjusts to us. She has started eating. Jackie gave her an apple. (She always
wanted an apple eating bunny.) Poops have appeared and about three times
larger than Little H's! She is about 4 months old. Don't know her breed.

Welcome, Matilda.

She is of course adorable, Richard.

But please, please, please don't give her more than a tiny slice of
apple or any sweet. Honest, sweets can be very dangerous for bunnies.

Reign on, Matilda.

Hi Nona

We won't as she gets the s*its if we do!

Carpets seem to be a very popular meal.

LOL Richard

Richard,

Please limit carpet "feedings," too.

PS ...And seeing as how the s_its can be fatal to rabbits, I know you'll
be good grownups and not "spoil" your rabbit with things that may be
poisonous to her.

I know, I know, I'm such a killjoy.

I second that about sweets. Many bunnies have become ill or died because
they were fed too much of the wrong food. Bacteria in their gut grows
explosively, releasing toxins that could kill the rabbit. The
gastro-intestinal stasis also makes the problem worse.
