Well - everything with the woman I last told you about - the really poor woman
who surrendered her rabbits to us - we took her groceries, all kinds of stuff,
and one really awesome dog rescuer sent her a check for $1000 - so she's doing
just a little better than she was. Two dog rescues in my area also donated food
and supplies for her dog. It worked out really nice.

I just had three adoptions this week - finally Howie, the beautiful New Zealand
got neutered and went home, and also two others - Dyl and Pumpkin. My vet went
on vacation this week, and of course we're falling apart without him.

Don't need to get into the specifics too much, but my 6 year old lop lost his
fight with cancer on the 15th and it was very sudden - my whole family was very
close to him, so we were really broken up by this. We also have an 8 year old
from the shelter with a harsh ear infection, a younger bun with a bad eye that
needs to have it removed -as well as a pregnant female we'd like to see spayed
ASAP. What a mess. I'm telling my vet he's no longer allowed vacations..

So sorry to hear about your lop - my thoughts go out you and your family.
Just remind yourself that he had an amazing life with you, and that he
couldn't have been more loved.
Nice to hear that things are a bit better for the poor woman, though. So
good when people help each other like that - kind of restores your faith in
humanity...

Thanks for posting the good news, Kris. It's great that woman and her
kids got some help. Sounded like she needed to get serious about
finding some for herself.

I'm sorry about your lost lop. Sad.

I hope the buns who need help get it soon.

Thanks all for your encouraging words about the loss of Domino. My whole family
was hit hard, and we really really miss him. But rescue never slows down, and
we've had 6 adoptions this week alone - and of course, the phone is ringing off
the hooks with surrender calls from shelters and all...

So sorry to hear about your sweet bunny losing his battle :( Take comfort in
the fact that you helped make his six years on earth wonderful, and I'm sure he
