HELP

Post by Bonnie Jean Weinma » Fri, 08 Jan 1999 04:00:00

Hi all

There was a great commotion under the corner table.  By the time Bill
got them out, Frosty had bitten a piece of skin (and lots of fur) from
Magics bottom, near where he eliminates.  It's bleeding a bit and now
everytime Frosty sniffs Magic's rear, Magic jumps a mile.  Now Magic is
under the table thumping louder than I've ever heard.

What should I do?

BJ

I would try to clean the wound with hydrogen peroxide, and then put some
Neosporin on it.  If it doesn't stop bleeding, I would go to the emergency vet,
but otherwise I would  call the vet in the morning.
You might want to put Frosty in his cage for the night and pamper Magic, just
so Magic feels better.
But I would definitely call the vet in the morning.

Hi Kris

Thanks for your prompt response to my request for help.  I took Magic to the Vet
this morning.  He's on antibiotics and an ointment.  At least that was the only
incident.  I tend to think that it was some sort of accidental thing.  They're
getting along great.  Thanks again.  You were a GREAT help.

I must have missed this post before!
I saw Frosty's picture and he is sooo
precious, but I hope by now Magic is feeling better and Frosty has learned that
Bunnie Butts are NOT edible!

Mary Jo and Nellie (Yeah, but they ARE cute, aren't they, Mom?)
