...that used to characterize this group. I'm glad the group still
exists, though it of course is not what it was.

I know you have all gone to Facebook. I appreciate those who still check
in here occasionally.

Just can't face sharing personal information with a corporate entity
that is all about selling it.

Miss you all, though.

Nona

Although I don't post very often I do read the group when we in town.
Miss Ivy has a Facebook page but we don't post there much either.

Getting ready, and waiting out Sandy, for our last camping trip
of the season.  Then the camper will be put away for the winter.

Ditto here, Nona. I did join FB (under an alias), but it's nothing compared to alt.pets.rabbits.
I'm checking in today to hear if you are allright with the storm?

How sad that trolls ruined our NGs. I hope that only courteous people will
rediscover newsgroups.

Hi

There is one great thing that the Facebook apr offers which is photos. But
here there is the possibility of adding a link to a place where the photos
are but not so convenient.

Answer is to keep up with both sites, even if you fed the same item into
both. keep both alive!

I actually use Facebook more than email. Obviously I do come
here, but there's so much more going on out there.

it's better here still than at another once well-populated NG
I feel too sad about to mention.

Is there a specific "Rabbits" group that most people here moved to or
is the problem that there are too many disparate groups?

Hi

I thought/think THIS is the rabbits group! But I check on both to have the
best of both worlds. You can always link to photos uploaded to Google (or
elsewhere) for photos etc. and can have more than one if you link to an
album.
