My tribute to Mark.

Post by Bruce Atchison - autho » Wed, 06 Feb 2013 03:59:22

Dear folks;

I wrote Mark's life story on www.bruceatchison.wordpress.com today. I also
posted the last photo I took of him there. Non-animal people just don't
understand how precious our non-human companions are to us. They'd be
shocked at how much I spent on Mark alone. I feel I did my best to help him
and his friendship was worth the price.

Sincerely,

Hi

Our sympathy goes out to you as already posted. Your tribute reminded me of
Panda's last illness when she had continual saliva discharges and tear
production. I still think it was a kind of cancer. She died in my arms. We
were glad to have had her and Little H her sister also rescue bunnies.

God Bless

Richard

Thanks, Carla. I sure miss Mark. He was as sweet as an Oreo cookie and
extremely cute as well. I miss his pumpkin dance and how he'd push his head
up against my hand when I petted him. I loved his white shirt, brown
briches, and little white booties. What a hansom lad!

Thanks, Richard. It's hard to lose bunnies like Panda or Mark. I wish I had
a better vet who could have diagnosed Mark's problem years ago. Even so, I
did what I could for him.

Yes It is part of "owning" a pet!

The pain of my loss is getting less but I still think of my Dutch dude from
time to time. I still miss petting him and how worked up he got when I fed
him pumpkin.

Speaking of pumpkin, I wrote a post at www.bruceatchison.blogspot.com about
how rabbits love canned pure pumpkin. Mark sure got e***d when he knew the
pumpkin was coming.
