amateur sleuth is fairly certain that author Beatrix Potter got virtually all
the characters' names from a GRAVEYARD! According to the London Evening
Standard newspaper, James Mackay has discovered headstones in Brompton
Cemetery, which is near Potter's former Kensington home, that have many of the
names from her Peter Rabbit stories.
